AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LEASE AGREEMENT BY
AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, AS LESSOR, AND UNITED
CABLE TELEVISION OF ALAMEDA, A CALIFORNIA CORPORATION,
AS LESSEE, OF CERTAIN CITY-OWNED LAND (PORTION OF GOLF
COURSE)
WHEREAS, United Cable Television of Alameda, a California
corporation, desires to lease from the City of Alameda certain
City-owned property, being an eighty-five foot by one hundred
twenty foot site in the maintenance yard area of the Alameda
Golf Course and more particularly described in the form of lease
referred to hereinbelow; and
WHEREAS, a form of Lease containing the covenants, terms
and conditions to be entered into is on file in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of Alameda , and the Council of the
Ci ty of Alameda is informed of the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that said Leasebe entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAEDA as follows:
Section 1 That the form of Lease referred to in thepreamble hereof , and the terms, conditions and covenants contained
therein be, and the same are hereby approved.

Section 2 That the Mayor of the City of Alameda be,
and he is hereby authorized to execute, for and on behalf of
the City of Alameda, a Lease substantially in the form and con-
taining the terms and conditions and covenants as set out in
the Lease referred to in the preamble hereof , and the City Clerk
is hereby authorized and directed to attest to same.
Section 3 This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from
the date of its final passage.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in an Adjourned Regular Meeting assembled on the
