Ordinance 2676CITY OF ALAMEDA ORDINANCE NO. New Series 2676 AUTHORIZING GRANT OF EASEMENT TO CENTRAL & PARK ASSOCIATES TO ALLOW THE INSTALLATION OF A DOOR IN THE BUILDING LOCATED AT 2314 CENTRAL AVENUE WHEREAS , on February 28, 1994 , a Building Permit application was submitted for a tenant improvement to the commercial space at 2314 Central Avenue; and WHEREAS , the property owners of 2314 Central Avenue , Central& Park Associates , have requested an easement to allow access across City property; and WHEREAS , on April 5 , 1994, the city Council agreed to grant the necessary easement; WHEREAS the city Council determined that this proj ect California Environmental Quality (Minor Alterations in Land Use because it grants an easement. of the city of Alameda has categorically exempt under the Act Guidelines , Section 15305 Limi tations) , Subdivision (a) NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Alameda that: section The City of Alameda authorizes the granting of an easement to Central and Park Associates , located at 2314 Central Avenue , that certain real property in the City of Alameda , County of Alameda , State of California , described as follows: commencing at the northeastern corner Parcel "B", Parcel Map No. 4005 , filed August , 1983 , in Book 141 , Page 2 of Parcel Maps; Thence northeasterly along the southern line of Central Avenue , eighty feet wide (80'), as said Avenue now exists , 60.00 I to a point on the eastern line of Lot 4 , Block U as shown on the Map of Lands Adj acent to the Town of Encinal , filed May 28, 1867 , at Page 53 in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda , California. Said point being the true Point of Beqinning Thence southeasterly along said eastern lot line 67.00 feet; Thence northwesterly, parallel line of Central Avenue , 16.00 feet;southern Thence northeasterly, parallel to eastern lot line of Lot 4 , 6700 feet; Thence southeasterly along said southern line of Central Avenue 16.00 feet , to the Point ofBeqinning Containing: 1,072.99 square feet , more or less. Section 2 The City Manager and the City Clerk , be , and eachhereby is , authorized and directed to execute and to attest to respecti vely, on behalf of the City of Alameda , a grant of said easement to Central & Park Associates. section This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage.
