SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ALAMEDA CITY COUNCIL
HELD MONDAY NOVEMBER 9, 1987
The meeting convened at 1:20 p.m. (following a Special Housing
Authority Meeting) with President Corica presiding.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Councilmembers Camicia, Monsef, Thomas and President Corica
- 4.
Absent: Councilmember Haugner.
RESOLUTIONS
87-793 Resolution No. 11342, "Supporting efforts to keep formerly
subsidized housing affordable to low and moderate income persons."
Adopted.
President Corica explained the purpose of the resolution, which was
discussed in detail during the Special Housing Authority Meeting.
Councilmember Camicia made a motion to adopt the resolution.
Councilmember Thomas seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous
voice vote - 4.
87-794 Resolution No. 11343, "Authorizing open market purchase of
various pieces of equipment for the Public Works Department." Adopted.
In response to inquiry from Vice Mayor Thomas, the Public Works
Director provided background information regarding various equipment
replacements.
Councilmember Monsef made a motion to adopt the resolution.
Councilmember Camica seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous
voice vote - 4.
President Corica adjourned the meeting at 1:22 p.m. to a Closed
Session to discuss litigation (City of Alameda v. Delanoy) and
personnel matters.
