ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
HELD TUESDAY OCTOBER 25, 1984
The meeting convened at 12:00 noon with President Diament presiding.
ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmembers Gorman, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
Absent: Councilmember Hanna - 1.
President Diament announced the Final Passage of Ordinance, "An ordinance adopting
a Home Mortgage Financing Program for the City of Alameda,'would be taken out of
order at this time.
84 -849 Ordinance No. 2215, N.S., An ordinance adopting a Home Mortgage Financing
Program for the City of Alameda."
Councilmember Gorman motioned, seconded by Councilmember Monsef, that the ordinance
be adopted; the motion carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmembers Gorman,
Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 4. Noes: None. Absent: Councilmember
Hanna - 1.
RESOLUTIONS
B4 -850 Resolution No. 10467, "A resolution of.the City Council of the City of
Alameda approving Rules and Regulations, relating to its Home Mortgage Financing
Program.
Councilmember Monsef requested the City Manager to briefly summarize the
resolution for purpose of the record.
Councilmember Monsef motioned, seconded by Councilmember Lucas, that the
resolution be adopted; the motion carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmember!
Gorman, Lucas, Monsef, and President Diament - 4. Noes: None. Absent: Councilmembe'
Hanna - 1.
84 -851 Resolution No. 10468, "A resolution of the City of Alameda authorizing the
issuanceof $20,000,000 - -principal amount of single - family residential Mortgage Revenue
Bonds, 1984 Series A. Such Bonds to be issued pursuant to a Trust Indenture dated as
of the date of the Bonds, authorizing the sale of such Bonds, subject to certain
Terms and Conditions, and authorizing the execution of and approving implementing
Agreements, Documents and Actions."
84 -852 Councilmember Gorman motioned, seconded by Councilmember Monsef, that the
resolution be adopted; the motion carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmember
Gorman, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 4. Noes: None. Absent: Councilmember
Hanna - 1.
Following the regular order of business, a work session ensued reviewing a City Hall
space allocation plan.
At the conclusion of the work session, Councilmember Gorman motioned, seconded by
Councilmember Monsef, that the Council adjourn to Executive Session for discussion
of personnel and litigation matters; the motion carried by unanimous voice vote - 4.

There being no further business to come before the Council the meeting adjourned
at 1:05 p.m. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m.,
Tuesday, November 6, 1984.
