1956-07-12 Special CC MinutesSPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
The meeting convened at 6:00 o'clock P.M. with President Kranelly presiding.
The roll was called and Councilmen Haag, Hove, McCall, Moresi and President
Kranelly, (5), were noted present. Absent: None.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. The Clerk read the Call and Notice of Special Meeting, giving the time, place
and purpose thereof. The Affidavit of Service, s igned by Shirley H. Tennier, City
Clerk, was on file - and the acknowledgement of the receipt of copies of the Call
and Notice was signed by each member or the Council on July 10, 1956. The Clerk
stated the Alameda Times-Star and the Oakland Tribune reporters had also received
copies of the Call and Notice.
RESOLUTIONS:
2. The following resolution was introduced •- Councilman Hove, who moved its
adoption:
"Resolution No. 5405
Authorizing Execution of License Agreement Between
United States Maritime Administration, Owner, and
City of Alameda, Licensee, Relative to Washington
Park Fill."
The motion to adopt said resolution was seconded by Councilman iToresi and on roll
call carried by the following vote. Ayes : Five. Noes: 'Tone. Absent: None.
The P7esident declared said resolution duly adopted and passed.
FILING:
3. License Agreement - Between United States of America, represented by the
Maritime Administration, Department of Commerce, and City of Alameda.

4. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the Council
adjourned - to assemble in regular session on Tuesday evening, July 17, 1956, at
7:30 o'clock.
