ALAMEDA HELD FRIDAY EVENING, .......... OCTOBER 5,1934
The meeting convened at 7:35 o'clock P.M. with President Murray presiding.
The roll was called and Councilmen Eschen, Morris and President Murray (3) were
noted present. Absent: Councilmen Bruzzone and Tiedemenn (2).
RESOLUTIONS:
/1. Councilman Eschen introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1879
Designating, Establishing and Appointing Election
Precincts, Polling Places, Voting Booths and Officers
of Election for General and Special Municipal Election
to be,Held November 6, 1934".
Councilman Morris seconded the motion and on roll call it was carried unanimously.
/2. Councilmen Eschen introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1880
Prescribing the Statement of Proposals for Amending
the Charter of the City of Alameda as the same Shall
Appear on the Ballot to be Used at the Election Called
for Submitting Said Amendments to the Electors of the
City" -
Councilman Morris seconded the motion and on roll call it was carried unanimously.
BILLS:
3. Claims against the General Departmeits, amounting to $500.00 and the Police
Department, $20.50 having been approved by the proper officials, wero listed by the
Clerk as follows:
General Department
Alameda Chamber of Commerce 2nd installment for advertising purposes $500.00
Police Department
Cobb's Lunch Meals served to-jail 20.50
On motion of Councilman Morris, seconded by Councilmen Eschen, the bills were on
roll call passed unanimously.
