The meeting convened at 8 o'clock/with President Murray presiding.
The roll was called and. Councilmen Eschen, Morris and President Murray (3) were
noted present. Absent: Councilmen Roebke and Tiedemann (2).
WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS:
.e/ From the City Planning Commission recommending the reclassification of 2244
Santa Clara Avenue, from a Residence District, Class I, to a Business District,
Class V, for the purpose of remodeling the building for undertaking parlors. On
motion of Councilman Eschen seconded by Councilman Morris and unanimously carried,
the recommendation was adopted.

communication signed by eight citizens, commending the choice of Walter P.
Koetitz as City Manager. The communication was ordered filed.
NEW BUSINESS:
V3. Report of Webster Street Lighting by George Sperbeck, City Engineer. On
motion of Councilman Eschen, seconded by Councilman Morris and unanimously carried,
the report was received and filed.
RESOLUTIONS:
4. Councilman Eschen introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1919
Resolution Approving Report of City Engineer
and Ordering Hearing in the Matter of the
Proposed. Ornamental Lighting of Webster Street
between the North Line of Central Avenue and
the Segregation Line."
Councilman Morris seconded the motion and on roll call it was carried unanimously.
