The meeting convened at 8 o'clock with Council-president Murray presiding.
The roll was called and Councilman Eschen; Leydecker, Morria Shanly and
Pr 'ident Murray, (5) were noted present. Absent: None.
The Clerk offered for filing the Notice of Call of Special Meeting and
affidavit of delivery of service. Ordered filed.
NEW BUSINESS:.
2. Upon motion of Councilman Shanly, seconded by Councilman Eschan and. carried
unanimously, application for the following for On and. Off Sale of alcoholic bever-
ages was approved:

Councilman Eschen introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1746
Submitting Certain Charter Amendments to
be Voted Upon at a Special Election to be
Held in the City of Alameda on June 27,
1933".

Councilman Shanly introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1747
Submitting an Ordinance No.
Amending Ordinance No, 276 N.S., Known
as the Pension Ordinance, Entitled 'An
Ordinance Providing for a Relief, Health,
Life Insurance and -:ension Fund for
Liembers of the Fire and Police Departments
of the City of Alameda; Also for the
Administration of Sa:,d Fund, to be Voted
Upon at a Special Election to be Held in
Said City on Tuesday, June 27, 1933."
The motion was seconded by Councilman Eschan and on roll call carried unanimously.
v 5. Councilman Eschen introduced and moved the ado-ntion
"Resolution No. 1748
Resolution that Request be 'Lade of the
Board of Supervisors to Allow Consolidation
of Special Election with Special State
Election on June 27, 1933."
The motion was seconded by Councilman Shanly and on roll call carried unanimously.
Councilman ,Shanly introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1749•
Approving. and Adopting Lap for Future
Development of Government Island and
Brooklyn Basin"
The motion was seconded by Councilman Eschen and on roll call carried unanimously.
There being no further business to transact, the Council adjourned to
meet in regular session, Tuesday evaing, May 16th, 1933, at 8 o'clock.
