The meetin, convened at 8 o'clock with Vice-president Eschen presiding,.
The roll was called and. Vice-president Eschen, Councilmen Leydecker, Morris
and. Shanly (4) were noted present: Absent: President Murray, (1).
1. The Clerk offered for filing the notice calling this special meeting. Ordered
filed.
RESOLUTIONS:
2. Councilman Shanly introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1773
Declaring Result of Special Election Held in the
City of Alameda, State of California, on Tuesday,
the Twenty-seventh Day of June,1933, Wherein There
Was Submitted to the Qualified Electors of Said
City,An Ordinance No. 503 N.S., Amending Ordinance
No. 276 N.S., Known as the Pension Ordinance,
Entitled 'An Ordinance Providing for a Relief,
Health, Life Insurance and Pension Fund for Members
of the Fire and Police Departments of the City of
Alameda; Also for the Administration of Said Fund."
Councilman Morris seconded the motion and on roll call it carried unanimously.
Councilman Morris introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1774
Declaring Results of Special Municipal Election Held
in the City of Alameda on Tuesday, June 27,1933"
Councilman Shanly seconded the nation and on roll call carried by unanimous vote.
There being no further business to transact, the Council adjourned to meet in
regular session Tuesday evening, July 18th, 1933, at 8 o'clock.
