ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
HELD TUESDAY MORNING, JUNE 9th . . . . . ..... . . 1936
The meeting convened at 11:06 A.M. with President Roebke presiding.
The roll was called and. Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3), were
noted present. Absent: Councilmen Eschen and Morris, (2).
PROTESTS OR PETITIONS:
1. A protest was presented by Mr. Pete Targhetta, signed by fourteen residents in
the vicinity of the Boy Scout Troup No. 2 headquarters at 1520 Chestnut Street, against
the building of an outdoor fireplace on the premises. Councilman Broyles moved that
this petition be referred to the City Manager for investigation, seconded by Councilman
Munro and on roll call carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Munro
and President Roebke, (3). Noes: None. Absent: Councilmen Eschen and Morris, (2).

ordinance prohibiting operation of such machines by other than experienced operators.

7•1 From the Board of Public Utilities Commissioners submitting copy of resolution
transferring $2500 from the Bureau of Electricity Fund to the General Fund as a special
dividend for buying two-way police radio system and revising budget for year ending
June 30th, 1936. There being no objection, the communication was ordered filed.

16. An itemized list of claims against the City of Alameda, and the several depart-
ments thereof in the total amounts as follows, was presented to the City Council:
General Departments, $436.15; Store Department, 4834.76.
Councilman Broyles moved, seconded by Councilman Munro, that the claims and bills
against the City in the amounts as listed and itemized in the List of Claims filed
with the City Clerk on June 9th, 1936, and presented to the Council at this meeting
be allowed and paid. On roll call this motion carried by the following vote: Ayes:
Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3). Noes: None. Absent: Councilmen
Eschen and Morris, (2).
17. There being no further business to transact, the Council adjourned to meet in
regular session on Tuesday morning, June 16th, 1936, at 11 o'clock A.M.
