HELD THURSDAY AFTERNOON, JUNE 25th, . . . . . 1936
The meeting convened at 4:02 o'clock with President Roebke, presiding.
The roll was called, and Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and President
Roebke, (5), were noted present. Absent: None.
1. The affidavit of delivery of notices calling this spec al meeting was offered for
filing.
RESOLUTIONS:
2, Councilman Morris introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 2063
Transferring $10,844 from the General Fund, Account
No. 162, to the School Fund",
Councilman Broyles seconded the motion, and on roll call carried by the following
vote: Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and President Roebke, (5).
Noes: None.
3. Councilman Morris introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 2064
Transferring $3,000 from the General Fund, Account
No. 156, to the Library Construction Fund No. 2",
Councilman Eschen seconded the motion, and on roll call carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and President Roebke, (5). Noes: None.
4. Councilman Munro introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 2065
Transferring $1,200 from the Library Fund, Account No.
20, to the Library Construction Fund, Account No. 2",
Councilman Morris seconded the motion, and on roll call carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and President Roebke, (5). Noes: None.
5, Councilman Broyles introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 2066
Transferring $1,500 from the General Fund, Account
No. 142, to the Bond Interest and Redemption Fund",
Councilman Eschen seconded the motion and on roll call carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and President Roebke, (5). Noes:
None.
NEW BUSINESS:
6.y Councilman Munro moved that the office of the City Manager be declared vacant,
effective immediately, seconded by Councilman Broyles. Councilman Morris offered an
amendment that as a part of that motion Mr. Fritz be allowed, under escort, to get
his personal belongings from his office and at all other times and thereafter be
barred from his office, and that he turn over all keys to his offices and City automo-
bile, and that the locks to all doors and safe combinations be changed at once. On
roll call this motion as amended carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen
Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and PresEent Roebke, (5). Noes: None.
7./ Councilman Broyles moved that the Assistant City Engineer, Charles R. Schwanan-
berg, be appointed Acting City Manager, seconded by Councilman Munro and on roll
call carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Eschen Morris, Munro
and President Roebke, (5). Noes: None,
8. There being no further business to transact, the Council adjourned to meet in
adjourned regular session on Monday morning, June 29th, 1936, at 11 o'clock A.M.
