TUESDAY EVENING, SEPTEMBER 1,01, 1925.
The meeting convened at 8 o'clock with Council-president Otis presidi g
The roll was called and Councilmen Latham, Neiss Noble, Probst and Presi-
dent Otis, (5) were noted present.
The minutes of the regular meeting of August 18th were approved as read.
The minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of August 25th were approved
as read.
Mr. Probst introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 930.
Transferring $646.88 from the Electric Light
Fund to the Interest and Redemption Fund."
Mr. Latham seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and on roll call it was
adopted and passed unanimously.
Mr. Latham introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 931.
Transferring $1,850.42 from the Electric Light
Fund to the General Fund."
Mr. Probst seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and on roll call it was
adopted and passed unanimously.
Mr. Noble introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 932.

Mr. Probst seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and on roll call it was
adopted and passed unanimously.

Mr. Noble seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and on roll call it was
adopted and passed unanimously.
Mr. Latham introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 934.
Cancelling Soft Drink License of Wm. Maas."
Mr. Probst seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and on roll call it was
adopted and passed by the following vote, to wit: Ayes: Councilmen Lathael,
Noble, Probst and President Otis, (4). Noes: Councilman Neiss, (1). Absent: None.
The following papers were offered for filing:

Copy of official call to the Twenty-seventh Annual Convention of the
League of California Municipalities. Mr. Probst moved that the City Clerk,
City Manager and City Engineer and such members of the council as desire to
attend be appointed delegates to represent the city of Alameda, the expenses
of these delegates to be paid by the City of Alameda, seconded by Mr. Latham
and on roll call carried unanimously.
From the City Planning Commission recommending the granting of the pe-
tition for the reclassification of the lots situated on the south side of
Taylor Avenue, near Sixth Street, known as Lots 27, 28, 29 and 30 and designated
upon a certain map entitled "Map of the Lands of the Teutonia Park and. Homestead
Association, from a Residence District, Class I to a Church District, Class IV,

petition for the reclassification of the premises known as 1821 Sherman Street,
from a Residence District, Class I to a Business District, Class III, permitting
the premises to be altered for the purpose of carrying on and maintaining a

Mr. Frank Marshall, accompanied by a committee from the Chamber of Commerce,
addressed the council favoring a municipal golf'cour e and requested the council
to give this matter serious consideration.
