TUESDAY EVENING, FEBRUARY 24th,1931
The meeting convened at 8 P.M. with Council-president Schaefer
presiding.
The roll was called and. Councilmen Brodersen, Henning, Latham
and President Schaefer (4) were noted present. Absent: Councilman Calcutt,(1).

1.. / The Clerk filed the Notice of Call and the Affidavit of Delivery
for this Special Meeting of the Council.
N BUSINESS
Discussion was had relative to the recent giving to the United States
Government of fifteen acres of land on Government Island. A verbal statement
was made by the Mayor as to events leading up to its present status. Messrs.
Sessions, Anthony and. Smith were present and discussed with the Council members
they claims and desires. City Attorney Silver explained to the Council the
accord-Offeredandj as tentatively agreed upon by Mr. Sessions and his repre-
sentatives, the Mayor and. City Manager. After discussion Mr. Latham intro-
duced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1581
Authorizing City Attorney to Enter into a
Stipulated. Compromise Agreement Regarding
Sessions Claim",
Mr. Brodersen seconded the motion to pass the resolution and on roll call it
was adopted and passed unanimously.
There being no further business to transact, the Council adjourned
to meet in regular session, Tuesday evening, Mach 3rd, 1931, at 8 o'clock.
