HELD TUESDAY MAY 3, 1983
The meeting convened at 7:25 p.m. with Chairman Corica presiding. The Pledge of
Allegiance was led by Commissioner Stone. The Invocation was given by Rev. Russell
Palmer, Retired Minister, First Christian Church.
RESOLUTIONS
Resolution No. 83 - 4 "Approving interim budget from July 1, 1982 through June 30,
1983 and approving a loan from the City of Alameda to finance Commission activities
and authorizing the Executive Director to execute agreement to repay funds to the
City of Alameda."
Commissioner Sherratt made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Gorman, that the reso-
lution be adopted; the motion carried by the following vote: Ayes: Commissioners
Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and Chairman Corica - 5. Noes: None. Absent:
None.
Resolution No. 83 - 5 "Adopting State relocation guidelines for Commission imple-
mentation of California Relocation Assistance Act."
Commissioner Sherratt made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Gorman, that the reso-
lution be adopted; the motion carried by the following vote: Ayes: Commissioners
Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and Chairman Corica - 5. Noes: None. Absent:
None.
Resolution No. 83 - 6 "Authorizing submission of the Community Improvement Plan
to the Alameda Planning Board for review prior to public hearing."
Commissioner Diament made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Stone, that the resolu-
tion be adopted; the motion carried by the following vote: Ayes: Commissioners
Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and Chairman Corica - 5. Noes: None. Absent:
None.
Resolution No. 83 - 7 "Adopting rules to implement preference to dislocated business
participants and authorizing transmittal of same to the Alameda City Council."
Commissioner Sherratt made a motion, seconded by Commission Diament, that the reso-
lution be adopted; the motion carried by the following vote: Ayes: Commissioners
Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and Chairman Corica - 5. Noes: None. Absent:
None.
FILING
Agreement to repay funds to the City of Alameda relative to Commission activities.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting adjourned
at 7:30 p.m.
