MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION MEETING

Chair Appezzato called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m.
ROLL CALL - PRESENT: Commissioners Daysog, Kerr, Lucas, DeWitt

Meeting of April 15, 1997.
Commissioner Lucas moved approval of the

REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS
Improvement Commission
Minutes. Commissioner
unanimous voice vote -
(97-15) Resolution No. 97-68 "Approving the Preliminary Report on
the Proposed Alameda Point Improvement Project (APIP) and
Authorizing Its Transmittal to Affected Taxing Entities." Adopted.
Jim Burns, Firm of Burns and Watfry, stated that the purpose for
the Preliminary Report is to let the affected taxing agencies know
the types of projects that are being proposed and the tax increment
that will be generated and affect them financially; a final report
will be received in two months. Mr. Burns gave an overview of the
Preliminary Report, which included blighting conditions,
description of projects, assessment of financing, and how projects
will mitigate blight.
Commissioner Lucas moved adoption of the Resolution.
Commissioner DeWitt seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous
voice vote - 5.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Commission, Chair
Appezzato adjourned the meeting at 7:45 p.m.
