MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL JOINT CITY COUNCIL AND
COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION MEETING
TUESDAY- -MARCH 21, 2000- -8:00 P.M.
Mayor/Chair Appezzato convened the Special Joint Meeting at 11:46
p.m.
ROLL CALL - Present: Councilmembers/Commissioners Daysog, DeWitt,
Johnson, Kerr and Mayor Appezzato - 5.
Absent: None.
,AGENDA ITEM
(CC: 00-148), (CIC: 00-09) Joint City Council and Community
Improvement Commission Public Hearing to consider the environmental
review for 1) the Community Improvement Plan for the Alameda Point
Improvement Project, and 2) Local Agency Military Base Recovery
Area under the State's Local Agency Military Base Recovery Act;
CITY COUNCIL:
(00-148A) Resolution No. 13199, "Adopting Findings and a Statement
of Overriding Considerations, Mitigation Measures, and a Mitigation
Monitoring Program for the Community Improvement Plan for the
Alameda Point Improvement Project." Adopted.
Councilmember DeWitt moved adoption of the Resolution.
Councilmember Johnson seconded the motion, which carried by
unanimous voice vote - 5.
(00-148B) Resolution No. 13200, "Adopting Findings and a Statement
of Overriding Considerations, Mitigation Measures, and a Mitigation
Monitoring Program; and Approving Designation of Naval Air Station
Alameda as a Local Agency Military Base Recovery Area." Adopted.
Councilmember DeWitt moved adoption of the Resolution.
Councilmember Johnson seconded the motion, which carried by
unanimous voice vote - 5.

(00 -09A) Resolution No. 00 -85, "Adopting Findings and a Statement
of Overriding Considerations, Mitigation Measures, and a Mitigation
Monitoring Program for the Community Improvement Plan for the
Alameda Point Improvement Project." Adopted.
Commissioner DeWitt moved adoption of the Resolution.
Commissioner Johnson seconded the motion, which carried by
unanimous voice vote - 5.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor /Chair Appezzato adjourned
the Special Joint Meeting at 11:50 p.m.
