(CC/00-286) (CIC/00-27) Conference with Real Property
Negotiator; Property: Alameda Point and Fleet Industrial Supply
Center; Negotiating Parties: City of Alameda, Community Improvement
Commission, Alameda Reuse and Redevelopment Authority, Catellus
Development Corporation and U.S. Navy; Under Negotiations: Price,
Terms and Conveyance.
(CC/00-287) (CIC/00-28) Conference with Legal Counsel
Existing Litigation; Name of Cases: Bayhawk Inc. v. City of
laameda; Renewed. Hope Housing Advocates and ARC Ecology v. City of
Alameda and Community Improvement Commission.
Following the Closed Session, the Special Joint Meeting was
reconvened and Mayor/Chair Appezzato announced that regarding
Anticipated Litigation, initiation of litigation was discussed and
litigation was not authorized; regarding Conference with Real
Property Negotiator, the Council/Commission/Board obtained a
briefing and gave instructions to real property negotiators;
regarding Bayhawk Inc. v. City of Alameda, settlement of change
order litigation was authorized; and regarding Renewed Hope Housing
Special Joint Meeting
Alameda City Council,
Community Improvement Commission, and
Alameda Reuse and Redevelopment Authority
June 6, 2000
Advocates and ARC Ecology v. City of Alameda and Community
Improvement Commission, the status of litigation was discussed and
instructions were given to the City Attorney/Legal Counsel.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor/Chair Appezzato
adjourned the Special Joint Meeting at 7:35 p.m.
