1925-02-10 Regular CC MinutesADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAI
TUESDAY EENING, FEBRUARY 10, 1925.
The meeting convened at 8 o'clock p. m. with Council-president Otis presiding.
The roll was called and Councilmen Latham, Neiss, Probst and President Otis,
(4) were noted present. Absent: Councilman Tilde] (1).
Mr. Probst introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 848.
Resolution Establishing Precincts and Providing
Election Officers."
Mr. Neiss seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and on roll call it was adopted
and passed unanimously.
2. V Mr. Probst introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No.
Submitting Certain Proposals by the Council
for Amending the Charter of the City of Alameda,
said Proposals to be Voted upon at the General
Election to be held in said City on March 10, 1925."
Mr. Latham seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution. After discussion, Mr. Neiss
offered an amended motion that it be laid on the table. The motion as amended was
accepted by Councilmen Probst and Latham and such was the order.
Mr. Latham introduced and moved the adoptinn of
"Resolution No. 849.
Authorizing Appropriation for Pre-Tubercular
Children at Del Valle Farm tb be Based pn the
Annual Expenditure instead of Monthly Expenditure."
Mr. Neiss seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and on roll call it was adopted
and passed unanimously.
Mrs. Kate Hooven representing the Housewive's League was present in the Council
Chamber, requesting the Council to take action on the request for the appointment
of a milk. commission.
There being no further business to transact the Council adjourned to meet in
regular session, Tuesday evening, February 17th, 1925, at 8 o'clock P. M.
