1923-02-09 Regular CC MinutesADJOURNED REGULAR TdEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA,. FRIDAY EVENING, FEBRUARY 9TH, 1923 The meeting convened at 8, P. M. with Council—president Otis presiding The roll was called and Councilmen Adams, Latham, Probst and President Otis .(4 ) were noted present. Absent: Councilman Tilden, (I). 11 The City Clerk stated that he was prepared to submit his report on the referendum petition filed by Mr. Andre; FOurchy, under date of January 31st 1923 and proceeded. to read. the same. The report was received and placed. on file. Mr. Latham introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: "Resolution No . 604. Submitting Zone Ordinance to the People." Mr. Probst seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and_ on roll call it was adopted and passed_ unanimously. lir. Fourchy expressed satisfaction with this action. 3/ The Clerk read a communication from the County Board of Supervisors requesting the Council to attend a meeting to be helci in the Board. of Supervisors' rooms, Hall of Pecords, Oakland, at 4:00 o'clock P. M., Tuesday, February 13, 1923, to discuss matters pertaining to the construction of a subway under the Estuary, between the cities of Oakland and Alameda. Nr. Latham moved that the. nvitation be accepted, seconded by Mr. Probst and carried. There being no further business to transact the Council adjourned to meet in regular session Tuesday evening, February 20th, 1923, at 8 o'clock, RepectThi±V sithmitted, City Clerk.
