1923-10-23 Regular CC Minutes6 jJ ADJOURNED RE A LETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALA1EDA, TUEaDAY EVENING, OCTOBER 23, 1923. The meeting convened at 8 o'clock with Council—president Otis presiding. The roll was called and. Councilmen Adams, Latham Probst, Tilden and. President Otis, (5) were noted present. A communication was received from W. H. Cramer, re audit of city books. Ordered filed. 2 V A communication was received from the East Bay Municipal Utility District, inviting the Mayor, Council and City Manager to attend its next meeting. Yr. Latham moved that the invitation be accepted, seconded by Ivir. Probst and carried. A communication was received from the Mayor, City Manager and City Attorney in reply to a communication received from Mr. Wynn Meredith, under date of October 1922. Mr. Latham moved that the communication be filed and that a copy of same be forwarded to Mr. Meredith and the County Board of Supervisors, seconded by Mr. Probst and carried. 4. Yr. Probst introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: "Resolution No. 686. Adopting Plans d Specifications for the Construction of a Club House in Lincoln Park." Mr. Tilden seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and on roll call it was adopted and passed unanimously. Ivir. Latham moved that the City Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for the construction of the club house in Lincoln Park, said bids to be received and opened at the meeting of the Council to be held. November 6, 1923, seconded by Mr. Probst and carried. 5.t/7 Mr. Latham introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: "Resolution Uo. 687. Rejecting the bids for Linoleum." M. Probst seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and on roll call it was adopted and passed unanimously. Mr. Latham inuroduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: "Resolution No. 688. Adopting Specifications for Linoleum for Health Center." Mr. Probst seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and on roll call it was adopted and passed unanimously. There being no further business to transact the Council adjourned to meet in regular session Tuesday evenin7, November 6, 1923, at 8 o'clock P. M. Respectfully submitted, att-ir Clerk.
