FRIDAY EVENING, DECEYBFZ 28, 1923.
The meeting convened at 8 P M. with Council-president Otis presiding.
The roll was called and Councilmen Adams, Latham, Probst and. President
, Otis (4) were noted present. Absent: Councilman Tilden, (1).
The Clerk read the copy of the official call for the meeting, attaahed
to which was the affidavit of delivery to the addresses of the councilmen.
Ordered filed.
The Clerk offered for file a communication from Mayor Frank Otis
advising the Council of his appoinrment of Leon H. Ader as Treasurer and ex-
officio Tax Collector.
Mr. Ader submitted to the Council his bond in the amount of 40,000,
aPproved by the City Attorney. Mr. Probst then introduced the following
Resolution and move& its adoption:
"Resolution No. 701
Approving Official Bond of Leon H. Ader as Treasurer."
Mr. Latham seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and on roll call it
was adopted and passed unanimously.
There being no further business to transact, the ouncii adjourned to
meet, in regular session, Wednesday evening, January 2nd, 1924.
