TUESDAY EVENING, OCTOBER 26TH, 192J.
The meeting convened at 8 o'clock with Eresidont OtiS presiding.
The roll was called and Councilmen Adams, Latham Probst, Tilden and
President Otis, (5) were noted present. Absent: None.
The Clerk read the call of the meeting as issued by Mayor Otis, which
stated that the meeting was called to consider the question of selling all
or any part of the North Side Sewer Bonds and to take action, by resolution
or otherwise, in the premises. Ordered filed.
A general statement was made by President Otis to those present
regarding the history of the bonds to date. Mr. Latham moved that the city
clerk be instructed to advertise the sale of $175,000 North Side Sewer Bonds,
or such part thereof as may be deemed necessary to construct the north side,
sewer. Mr. Tilden suggested the following amendment: That only 0150,000 of the
issue be advertised for sale at the present time and those bonds be the long-
est in date of maturity. Mr. Latham accepted the amendment. ltr. Probst
seconded the motion and on roll call it was: called by the following vote:-
Ayes; Councilmen Adams, Latham Probst, Tilden and. President Otis, (5).
Noes: None. Absent: None.
Mr. Probst moved that the two envelopes on the Clerk's desk supposed to
contain bids of the Bank of Italy and. R. H. Moulton & Co be returned un
opened, seconded by Mr. Tilden and carried.
There being no further business to transact the council adjourned
to meeting in regular session, Wednesday evening, November 3rd, 1920, at 8
lock.
