RESOLUTION NO. 3418
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TWO (2)
NEW 1946 OR 1947 TWO-DOOR AND/OR FOUR-DOOR SEDANS
TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE THE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specif-
ications and Provisions for furnishing two (2) new, 1946 or 1947 modal, two-
door and/ or four-door sedan automobiles to the City of Alameda, No. MS
11-46-12, filed in the office of the City Clerk on November 19, 1946, be
and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will
receive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, the
3rd day of December, 1946, for the furnishing to the City of two (2) new,
1946 or 1947 model, two-door and/or four-door sedan automobiles in accordance
with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly
marked on the outside, "Proposal for Automobiles", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions
of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda
Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the
provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of November, 1946, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
