AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH FEDERAL
WORKS AGENCY, BUREAU OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES, FOR
CULVERTS AND STORM WATER DISPOSAL SYSTEMS PLANNING
FUNDS--UNIT 10. (LYING SOUTH OF AND INCLUDING
ATLANTIC AVENUE WEST OF FIFTH STREET ( EXTENDED)
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda, pursuant to authorization contained in
Resolution No. 3207 adopted by this Council on January 2, 1946, filed with the
Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community Facilities, an application for a loan
of Federal funds for the purpose of planning the Culverts and Storm Water Disposal
Systems of the City of Alameda, said application being filed under the terms of
the War Mobilization and Reconversion Act of 1944, Title V thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Bureau of Community Facilities of the Federal Works Agency
is prepared to enter into an agreement with the City to advance the sum of
$4,000.00 for the aforesaid purposes and has submitted an Areement and Public
Voucher for Advance, BCF Form 405, stating the terms and conditions under which
payments pursuant thereto will be made to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement in full and is
familiar with the contents thereof and the form of said agreement has been filed
with the City Clerk on January 7, 1947;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the form of agreement hereiriabove referred to, and the terms and conditions
thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Mayor of the City of Alameda be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to execute and the City Clerk be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to attest and certify an agreement substantially in the
fora and containing the terms and conditions set forth in the form of agreement
filed with the City Clerk, as aforesaid.

regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of January, 1947, by the following vote,
