ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL FUND OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA TO BE
KNOWN AS "FEDE .L POST,-WAR. PLANNING FUND 70. 4-P-472.
(STORM DRAINS NORTH OF LINCOLN AVENUE, EAST OF ELM,
STREET TO HIBBARD STREET)."
MEAS, by Resolution No 3457 adopted by this Council on January
7, 1247, the City of Alameda entered into an A6reement and Public Voucher
for Advance, BCF Form 405, with the 'Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community
7aci1ities, for a loan of Federal funds for the purpose of planninc the cul-
verts and storm water disposal systems of the City of elameda, said Agreement
and Public Voucher for Advance, BCF, Form 405, being entered into pursuant
to the terms of the War Mobilization and Reconversion Act of 1944, Title V
thereof; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Agreement and Public Voucher for Advance,
BCF Form 405, the said Federal Works Ageney, Bureau of Community Facilities,
has advanced to the City of Alameda the sum of 3,250.00; and
WHEREAS, a further sum, not to exceed 250.00, may be paid to the
City of Alameda by said Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Comm i y Facilities;
and
WHEREAS, said total sum of not to exceed $6,500.00, provided to be
paid to said City of Alameda pursuant to said Agreement and Public Voucher for
Advance, BCF Form 405, shall be expended in plans for culverts and storm water
disposal systems in that part of the City of Alameda lying north of Lincoln
Avenue and east of and including Eighth Street (extended) to Hibbard Street
(extended);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED FY THE =COIL OF THE GITY OF ALAI
that there be, and is hereby, created and established a special d of the
City of Alameda, which fund shall be known as "Federal post-War Planning Fund
No. 4-P-472. (Storm Drains North of Lincoln,. Avenue, EaSt of Eighth Street, to
Hibbard Street)."
BE. IT _TEM RESOLVED that all moneys received by the City of
Alameda from the Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community Facilities, pur-
suant to the provisions of said Agreement and Public Voucher for Advance, DCF
Form. 405, with the Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community Facilities, be
deposited in the City Treasury to the credit of said Federal Post-War Planning
Fund. No. 4-P-472. (Storm. Drains North of Lincoln Avenue, East of Eighth
Street, to Hibbard Street), and that all moneys in said fund shall be expended
only for the purposes authorized by said Agreement and Public Voucher for
Advance, BCF Form 405, and may be appropriated from time to time.
The Auditor and Treasurer of the City are hereby authorized and
directed to set up and maintain in their respective offices such acco ting
records as will at all times show the receipts, disbursements and Lexpended
balance in said fund..
RESOLVED, FURUIER,
