APPROVING FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR
STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE,
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department or Public Works,
Division of Highsays, has presented a First Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement
in accordance with a project statement submitted by the City for expenditure of
the 1/4 cent gas tax for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1947, allocated for streets
of major importance other than State highways, in the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement In full and is
familiar with the contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AIAMEDA
that said project statement be, and it is hereby, adopted as the budget of pro-
posed expenditures of the 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for streets of major import-
ance other than State highways, and said First Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement
be, and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and the City Clerk are directed
to sign the same on behalf of said City, said agreement to be binding upon the
City upon its execution by the authorized officials of the State.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 15th day of April, 1947, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None,
