ADOPTING SPECIFICATION3 AND PROVISIONS FOR REPAIR.

WHEREAS, public interest and necessity require the repair and/or construc-
tion of Portland Cement Concrete sidewalk, curb and Futter in certain streets of
the City of Alameda; and
WIENUU.S, the City. Engineer has prepared. Specifications and Provisions for
repair of Portland Cement Concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter for the fiscal year
endinF June 30, 1968, which Specifications and Provisions are numbered. PW 5-47-4 and
were filed. with the City Clerk of said City on May 20, 1947:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid. Specifications and Provisions, numbered and filed. as aforesaid, be,
and. the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
IESOLVIM, FIJIMEM, that the performance and completion of the work speci-
fied in. said. Ope cifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby, authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M., on Tuesday, June 3, 1947, for the
furnishing to the City o all labor, material. and. equipment necessary for repairing
and/or constructing Portland Cement Concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter in the street
of the City of Alameda for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1943, in.. accordance with
said. Specifications and Previsions. B t o
Bids must be presented t the City Clerk, in
the City Hall, in. Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside "Proposal for Sidewalk", or similar designation.
Contract, If awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits, the lowest and best
bid- Tlie right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said.. Specifications and Provisions may be had bp .. any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk Is hereby directed to advertise, In the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this Nesolu-
tion and of said Specifications and provisions.
