Resolution 15205CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 15205 APPROVING FINAL MAP AND BONDS, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SUBDIVISION IMROVEMENT AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTING DEDICATIONS AND EASEMENTS FOR TRACT 8254 (DEL MONTE WAREHOUSE) WHEREAS, on May 26, 2015, the Planning Board of the City of Alameda ( "City ") held a public hearing and approved a resolution recommending that the City Council approve a tentative subdivision map to create a 7- lot subdivision located at 1501 Buena Vista Avenue; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No.15067, the City Council approved Tentative Map for Tract 8254 on July 21, 2015; and WHEREAS, subsequent to the approval of Tentative Map for Tract 8254 by the City Council, the subdivider asked the City to split Parcel 5 on the Tentative Map into three separate parcels D, H and I on the Final Map to more appropriately align with three distinct areas of Eagle Avenue extension, the sidewalk along Clement Avenue and the landscape and sidewalk along Entrance Road respectively; and WHEREAS, Final Map for Tract 8254 creates a 9 -lot subdivision; and WHEREAS, approval of Final Map of Tract 8254 is ministerial and will not result in new environmental impacts beyond, those identified in previously approved documents. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Alameda that the Final Map of Tract 8254 be, and hereby is, approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said easements offered for dedication to the public have been accepted on behalf of the public for use in conformity with the terms of the offers of dedication; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the agreement for construction and completion of the public improvements in said tract pursuant to the Subdivision Improvement Agreement and all its terms and conditions be, and hereby are, approved and the City Manager and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and attest to, respectively, said Agreement on behalf of the City of Alameda; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bonds guaranteeing full and faithful performance of said public improvements, labor, and materials will be hereby approved as sufficient in amount before the execution of the Subdivision Improvement Agreement. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of October, 2016, by the following vote to wit: W AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Ezzy Ashcraft, Matarrese, Oddie and Mayor Spencer — 5.
