CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 15718
AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2020-21 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM BUDGET BY ALLOCATING $200,000 IN
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT FEE FUNDS TO THE CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FUND 96012 TO CONSTRUCT SIGNAL
INSTALLATION AT HARBOR BAY PARKWAY/NORTH AND SOUTH
LOOP ROAD AND HARBOR BAY PARKWAY/PENUMBRA PLACE
AND SOUTH LOOP ROAD PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda (City) has awarded a contract to Ray’s Electric to
construct two new traffic signals on Harbor Bay Parkway; and
WHEREAS, challenges and changes encountered during the construction of the
traffic signal necessitate additional work in the amount of approximately $289,890 to
complete the project; and
WHEREAS, the signal installations on Harbor Bay Parkway are identifi ed as
eligible projects in the Transportation Improvement Fee Funds (Fund 350) as fully funded
projects and sufficient funding is available to pay for the additional contractual expenses;
and
WHEREAS, in order to allocate these funds in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020-21
Budget, City Council action is required.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
allocation of $200,000 in Transportation Improvement Fee Funds to Capital Improvement
Project Fund 96012 for FY 2020-21 are approved.
