ENDORSIM A FAVORABLE VOTE IN THE CITY OF AIAMEDA

WHEREAS, due to overcrowded facilities, students of the City of Alameda
schools are obliged to attend double session schools and work under substandard
conditions; and
and v-IHEIZEAS, the population trend indicates that this condition will continue;
'SHERZ.A31 the necessity for new school facilities is imperative; and

-,_iEAS$ School Bonds are to be voted upon at the election to be held
June 1, 1948;
KOW THEREFORE, BE IT RE30LVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIIEE CIT -f OF ALAMEIDA
that it does hereby endorse the City of Alameda School Bonds and urges the electors
of the Oitv to vote in favor of said Bonds at the election to be held on june 1.

and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 20th day of April, 1948, by the following vote, to
