WHEREAS, on the !at day of September, 1946, a lease of certain real
property beionSKE to the City of Alameda, described as follows:

as said station and line are delineated and so designated On.
that certain map entitled "Map of Alameda Marsh land, as par-
titioned among the owners thBreof in the suit No. 8923, and
entitled Pacific Improvement Company, Plaintiff, vs. james A.
Waymire, et al, Defendants, Superior Court of AlamedaVounty,
State of California", filed July 30, 1200, in the office of
the County Recorder of Alaneda County in Map Rook 25, paZes
7? to 73, and runninS thence duo north 301.05 feet to a point,
said point being the true point of commencement; thence due
north 341.2 feet more or less to a point on the U. S. Fier -
head Line; thence along said Pleibead Line the following
courses and distances: Ecrth 79* 031 59" East 335.74 feet
zo a point desKInated as To. 12 an said line; thnnce Kortla
73* 561 45" East 1142.51 feet, more or less, to a point on
said Peralta Grant Line: thence along said last named line
South 21* 151 West 124.58 feet, more or less, to as point
thereon known as Station No. 175; thence along said last

on said line; thence along said line South 47* 151 West 482.91

ing a radius of 1407.42 feet, (the tangent to said curve at-,

was entered into between the City of Alameda and UnikedEngineerinS Company, a

said lease, now desires to sublet said lease to Todd Pacii] c Shipyards Corporation,
a Delaware Dorporation, for a torn of ten (101) years from and after Lay 15, 12, 03,

said City of Alameda does hereby consent to the sublease of that certain lease
dated September 1, 1946P by and between Lhe City of Alarmda, a amnicipal corporation
and United EnZincerina Company, a corporat3on, therein called thn Lessoe, to Todd
Pacific Shipyards CarporaLion, a Delaware corporation; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOINED that the Nayor of the City of Alameda be, and he
is hereby, authorized and empowered to execute, and theCity Clerk to attest, the
consent of the City of Alameda in and to said sublease.
