ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR EUNICIPAL

Being a portion of that certain 14.63 acre parcel of land
described in Quitclaim Deed fron,American Trust Company, a cor-
poration, to Oakland Title Insurance and auaranty Company, a
corporation, dated May 25, 1936, and recorded 11,ay 1.5, 1937, in
Book 3437 of Official 11ecords of Alameda County, page 149,
described as follows:
Commencing at Tide Land Survey Stake No8 & as listed on

Salt Marsh and Tide Lands situate in the County of Alameda,
State of California," prepared by order of the Board of Tide
!and Commissicners and on file in the office of said Comnls-
sioners in an Francisco, certified copies thereof having been

at page 30, in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda

aforesaid Section 30, 564.27 feet, more or less, to a point
in a line drawn parallel with the center line cf Yaitiand Drive,
formerly South Shore Drive, as said drive is described in that
certain grant; from E. B. Stone to the City.of Alameda, dated
December 9. 1924, and recorded March 2, 025 in Book 899 of

and running thence North along the east line of said Lot 23, 475.74
feet, more or less, to a point in a line drawn parallel with the

have been assessed heretofore for county purposes beginning with the fiscal year
1925-1926 and the taxes levied thereon are uncollected and unpaid; and
WEEREAS, after the time said assessment and taxes became a lien on said
parcels of real property, to wit: on September 11, 1947, the said parcels of real
property were acquired for municipal purposes by the City of Alameda, a municipal
corporation, by Deed recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County
on Septenber 11, 1047, under liecorder's Series AB 77654; and
WEEREAS, ever since the said 11th day of September, 1947, the said parcels
of real property have been and now are owned by said City of Alameda and have been
and now are being used for public purposes and because of such public ownership are
not subject to sale for delinquent taxes;
NOW, TEEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda be, and it is hereby, requested
to nake its order, and to take such further proceedings as may be necessary, to
cause all uncollected taxes, assessments, penalties or costs charged or levied for
county purposes upon the aforesaid parcels of real property, to be cancelled; and
that a record of such cancellation be made by the officer or officers having cus-
tody of the records thereof, in accordance with the provisions of Section 4986 of
the Revenue and Taxation Ccde of the State of California.
iESOLVED, FUR7TER, that the City Clerk forward a certified copy of this
resolution forthwith to the Board of Supervisors of said Alameda County.
I. the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of june, 124C, by the following vote,
