Section 1. The position of "Administrative Assistant to the City
Nanager" is hereby created in the City Managerts Department of the City of Alameda.
Section 2. The duties of the position of Administrative Assistant to
the City Manager and of the person holding such position, shall be as follows:
To assist the City Manager with his administrative tasks and to assist
in carrying on research work relating to any major phase of public ads iris tration,
and to do related work as ass l3red or directed by the City Manager.
Section 3. The salary for the position of Administrative Assistant to
the City Manager is hereby fixed at "333.00 per month, first year; 0,,;344.00 per
month, second year; and 055.00 per month, third year.
I, the undersigned, Hereby certify that the foreSoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in reSular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of JA e, 1943, by the following vote,
