Resolution 03792RESOLUTION NO. 3792 ACPTInG CONVEYANCE FROM SANTA CRUZ OIL CORPOBATION OF EASEKENTS !N CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTING TO TiE-,' RRC, ORDATIO: T THEREOF. 7flIE,1'�EAS, a certain indenture dated the 13th day of July, 1948, made by and between Santa Cruz Oil Corporation, a California corporation, as party of the first part, and City of Alameda, a municipal corporation, as party of the second part, was on or about said date, executed and delivered by said party of the first part to the City of Alameda; and INHEREASI by said indenture, the grantor therein named granted to the City of Alameda permanent easements and riShts of way to, at any time, or from time to time, construct, maintain, cperate, replace, remove and renew underground storr'l and/or sanitary sewers and/or drains, in, through, under and along that certain piece, strip or parcel of land situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, StaUe of California, particularly described as follows, to wit: All that parcel of land enclosed within tho following described boundary: COTv'11,11EN''CING at the point of intersection of the southeasterly line of Peach Street, formerly Beach Street, with the southwesterly line of Otis Drive, formerly Front Street, in Lot 28, Section 18, Township 2 South, Ranoe 3 West, Mt. Diablo Base and Meridian, ac- cording to the nap entitled "Map No. 2 Salt March and Tide lands, Situate in the County of Alameda, State of California," filed in the office of the Board of Tide land Commissioners at San Francisco, a certified copy thereof being filed in the office of the County Recorder of the City and County of San Francloco; running thence South 30* 301 East 28.01 feet to t he point of beginning; thence continuing South 30* 30t East 19.32 feet to a point; thence South 0* 401 West 183.29 feet, more or less, to a point in the United States Plerhead and Bulkhead line; thence along the last named line North 68* 30t West 10.70 feet to a point; thence North 0* 401 East 196.01 feet, more or less, to the point of bogs inn; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda did, on July 20, 1948, accept said conveyance and acquired possession of the said easements in the real property above described; NOW, THEHEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE Cl'i'Y UP ALATW,DA that the aforementioned indenture be, and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf of the City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said City, hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and orders this resolution to Lae attached thereto, as required by Section 1158 of the Civil Code of the State of California. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of July, 1948, by the following vote,, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney, and President Branscheid, (5).
