ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE FROM AIANEDA CITY LAND COMPANY
OF EASEMENTS IN CERTATN REAL PROPEICLY AND CONS14,'NITING
TO THE RECORDATION THEREOF.
MHEREAS, a certain indenture dated the 13th day of july, 1948, made by
and between,Alameda City Land Co., a California corporation, as party of the first
part, and City of Alameda, a municipal corporation, as narty of the second part,
was, on or about said date, executed and dealvered by said party of the first part
to the City of Alameda; and
!;V11E1-1,?EAS, by said indenture, the grantor therein named granted to the City
of Alameda permanent easements and rights of way to, at any time, or from time to
time, construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew underground storm,
and/or sanitary sewers and or drains, in, through, under and along those cortain,
pieces, strips or parcels of land situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda
State of California, particularly described as follows, to wit:
PARCEL 1 :
A21 that parcel of land enclosed within the following described
boundary:
CUMENCING at the southeast corner of Lot 02, Section 14,
Township 2 South, hange 3 West, Mt. Diablo Base and Meridian,
according to the map entitled "Sale Map No. 10, Salt Marsh and
Tide lands, situate In the Coi.mty of Alameda, State of Cali

fornia," filed june 9. 1838 in the office of the County Re-
corder of Alameda County, and of record in Map Book 17, Page
30; running thence North 37* 521 36" West 506.45 feet to a
point on the center line of Maitland Drive, also known as
County Road 1468, said point being Station No. 19 of Survey
No. 1468 for Public Road in Eden and Alameda Townships, August
29$ 1871; thence along the said center line South 10* 331 55'
East 38.50 feet to a point; thence North 89* 20t West 40.78
feet to a point on the westerly line of Maitland Drive (County
Road) said point being the true point, of bel inning,; thence,
along the westerly line of Maitland Drive South 10* 331 55''
East 5.10 feet to a point; thence North 89* 201 West 88.03,
feet to a point; thence South 0* 40t West 5.00 feet to a point;
thnnee North 890 201 West 20.00 feet to a point; thence North

more or less, to the southerly edge of San Leandro Channel;
thence along the southerly edge easterly 10.00 feet to a point;

88.59 feet to a point; thence South 89* 20t East 5.00 feet to
a potnt; thence South 0* 401 West 5.00 feet to a point; thence
south 89* 201 East 86.05 feet to a point in the westerly line
of Maitlard Dr ivo (County Road); thence South 10.. 331 55" East
5.10 feet to the point of beginning.
That certain Street or Road as shown on Map entitled "City
of Alameda, California, Enginocring Dopartmont, Map Showing
Streets on Bay harm Island as They Exist April 26, 1948," filed
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Alamoda, Califor-
nia, said Road shown on said Map as Taitland Drixe from Doolittle
Drive to the easterly city limits of the City of Alameda;
NHIEHEASY the Citj of Alameda did, on j110 20, 1048, accept said convey
once, and acquired possession of the said easements in the real proporty above
described;
