DECIAHING TJEUj, NEED IPOR INVESTIGATING THE YEASIBiLITY
AND DESIRABITJTY OF ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL CAMP
FUR TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA.
WEEREAS, public interest and necessity require the investigation of
potential camp sites to be established for the benefit and enjoyment of the
citizens of [,1h,e City of Alai!,ieda; and
WIMERAS, the desirability of having such a Municipal Camp is
acknowledSed;
NOW THEREFORE't IT REZOLVED BY THE COUNCIl'i OF 1,171'IE O'd? ALAjm:,[EPDA
that a committee, composed of certain meribers of the City Council, Recreation
Department, Social Seiwlce Departmert and Engineering Department, visit one of
the 3amps to observe its manner of operation and to learn just what is neces-
sary Ko be done to bring such a camp into being.
B!,i,' TT RESOLVED that a sum, not to exceed Sixty-six (;,�66.00)
Dollars, be appropriated to cover the necessary expenses involved in making this
investigation.
