WITH DEEP SORROW, the Council of the City of Alameda records the death
of one of its loyal and most civic -minded citizens, HUGH C. GALLAGHER, who, for
many years, worked diligently for the benefit of his fellow citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, 3E TT RESOLVED, that, in recognition of his deep in-
terest and
rrenerosity in promoting all things worthwile for the City of Alameda,

the Council of the City of Alameda hereby expresses its sense of personal loss
and. its sincere gratitude for t -l -le fine influence he exerted during his many years
of active participation in civic affairs.
BE IT FLIRT" ER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread in full upon the
minutes of this meeting, and that a copy thereof be transmitted to the family of
MIr. Gallagher, that it may extend to its members a sincere expression of sympathy
and condolence; and

I that when this meeting of the Council of the City
of Alameda adjourns, it shall do so in respect to the memory of HUGH C. GALLAGHER.
