CREATING THE POSITIO14 OF "MOTOR EQUIPMENT SERVICEITAN't
IN THE' STREET DEPARTM,`ENT OF THE CITY OF ALA1,,,1FDA,
PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES AND FIXING THE SALARY THEREOF
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL 03 THE CITY OF ALANEEDA as follows:
Section 1. The position of 1%lotor Equipment Serviceman" is hereby
created and established in the Street Department of the City of Alameda.
Section 2. The duties of the position of 1,11otor Equipment Service-
man, and of the person holding such position, shall be as follows:
To perform miscellaneous skilled tasks in assisting with the repair,
service and maintenance of a wide variety of automotive equipment, and to d*
related work as required or directed.
Section 3. The salary for the position of Motor Equipment Serviceman
shall be, and is hereby, fixed at 4247.00 per month,
IP the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on -IV-he 7t1i day of December, 1948, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
