Section 1. Six (6) temporary part-time positions of "Crossing Guard''
bo, and are hereby, created and established in the City of Alanada, to continue

by Section 477.5 of the California Vehicle Code, shall be effected, at which tine
the temporary part-time positions hereby created shall be abolished.
Section 2. The duties of the nosition of "Crossing Cuard" and of the
person holding such position shnli be as follows:
Mer direction, during an assigned shift, to protect lives of school.
children at school crossing intersections by controlling vehicular traffic.
Section 3. The salary for the position of Crossing Ward shall be,
and is hereby, fixed at 01.14j per hour.
