ACCEPTING GRANT OF EASEMENT (SEWER PARCEL 12) FROM
ALA DA BELT LINE AND CONSENTING TO RECORDATION THEREOF
WHEREAS, a certain indenture dated the 19th day of February, 1952, made
by and between Alameda Belt Line; a California -corporation, Grantor, and City of
Alameda, a municipal corporation, Grantee, was, on or about said date, executed
and delivered by said Grantor to the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, by said indenture, the grantor granted to the City of Alameda
a permanent easement and right of way. to, at any time, or from time to time,
construct, maintain, operate, `replace,' and renew underground sanitary
sewers and/or storm drains in, through, under and along'astrip or parcel of,
Land situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California,
and more particularly described in said indenture; and
WEEREAS, the City of Alameda did, on the 4th day of March, 1952, accept
said conveyance and acquired possession of the said easement in the said real
property;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforementioned indenture be, and the'same is hereby, accepted on behalf
of the City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said
City, hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and orders this '
resoltulon to be attached thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the Government
Code of the State of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Kaneda
in regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of March, 1952, by the following
Vote, to wit:
AYES: , Councilmen Anderson, Branscheid, Jones, Sweeney and
President Osborn, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
