1 . That Tuesday, the 6th day of May, 1052, at the hour of 8:00 O'clock
P. M., in the regular meeting place of this Council, the Council Chadbers in the
City Hall, Alameda, California, be, and the same are hereby, appointed and fixed
as the tir( ,and place for hearing protests in relation to the proposed inprovements
called for under said Resolution of Intentior and more particularIg provided for in
said report.
2. That the He& of this City be, and she is hereby, directed to give
notice of said hearing by two successive insertions in the Alaneda Times -Star, a
newspaper published and circulated 7enerally in said City, and by conspicuously
posting same along all the open streets within the assessment district at not more
than three hnndred(300) fe9t apart, but not less than three (3) in all; said
posting and publication to be had and completed at least ten,(10) days before the
date heTeir set for hearAng of protests.
3. r1t said notices to be posted shall be headed "Notice of Tmprovenent"
in letters of 7. -oh .fuss than one-half inch in height, and s1hall, Ir legible char-
acters, state tha fact and date of the passage of the Resolution of Intention, and
of the flUrg or said report, and of the dats, hour and place set for the hearing
of said protests, an! briefly describe the improvements proposed to be made, and
refer to said resolution and report for further particulars.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assenbled on the 15th day of April, 1952, by the following vote,
to wit:
