Resolution 04710RESOLUTION NO. 4710 RESOLUTION OF TNTETION TOORDER TEE ACS .ICN OF A PORTION OF CLAY STREET, IN W -TP, CIr,.Y OF A]JJ-7,'DA RESCIVED EY Wal COIRTIII, OF THE CITY OF ALATMI�',DA that public interest requires and said Council hereby declares its intention to order the vacation, closing and abandonment of that certain portion of Clay Street, in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: FROY the northeastern corner of Clay Street and Tost Street, as shown on the Map of Town of Alameda and Adjacent Lands (H. A. Higley Survey), which shell be known as the POINT OF BEGTNWING; THENCE along the northern line of Clay Street 215.42 feet to a point in the State Bay Farm Island Brid, right -of -may line; TEENCE along said right-of-way line N 8qo 26, 35" W 88.14 feet to the south line of Clay Street; T 7ENCE along the south line of Clay Street westerly 150.85 feet to the east line of most Street; THENCE along said east line of Post Street northerly 60 feet to the POINT OF TEGINNING. ESSOLVED, FURTHER, that the portion of said Clay Street to be vacated and abandoned and the details of said vacation are more particularly shown upon that certain map known as DrawinC 3898, Case 51, bearing the le6end: "Ownerships Vicinity of Clay and Post Streets", which map is hereby approved for the purpose of this proceeding and is hereby ordered filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Alameda and marked "Filed Tanuary 20, 1953", and uhich map is hereby referred to for particulars as to the proposed vacation. 'R1,,'S0LV.-,F,'D, -FURT1DIR, that the 17th day of February, 1953, at 8:00 o1clock P.Y. of said day, in the COUNCIL CIIJ13ERS in the CITY EALL, at the northwest corner of Santa Clara Avenue and Oak Street, Alameda, California, be, and the same is hereby, fixed as the time and place for hearinE by the Council of said City of all persons interested in or objecting to tae proposed vacation. IESOLVED, FURTMIR, that the City Clerk of the City of Alaneda is hereby directed to cause this resolution to be published, in the manner p2escribed by law for the publishing of ordinances of the City of Alameda, in the Alameda Times -Star, a daily newspaper of gene2al circulation published and, circulated in said City, and, the official newspaper thereof.
