Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda ninety-one (91) single pendant type
lightine standards complete with luminaires, Yo. MS 1-53-3, filed in the office of
the City Clerk on January 20, 19532 be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 of clock P. Y. on Tuesday, February 3, 1953, for
the furnishing to the City of ninety-one (91) single pendant type lighting standards
complete with luminaires, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions.
Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Mall, Alaraeda, California,
under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for 91 single pendant
type lighting standards", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, Vill be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions®
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution vias duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 20th day of Tanuary, 1953, by the followinS vote, to wit:
