RESOLUTION NO. 4892
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A LEASE OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY TO ED. DEEMER BUICK, INC., AND APPYOVINTCY
THE FORM AND TERMS OF SAID LEASE.
1,,THEREAS, Ed, Deemer Buick, Inc., a corporation, has applied to the City
of Alameda for a lease of certain City owned real property located at the corner
of Webster Street and Atlantic Avenue, in the City of Alameda, and more particularly
described in the form of tense hereinafter referred to, for the purpose of conducting
thereon the business of the storage and sale of used automobiles, for the term of one
(1) year, at a rental of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars per month; and.
WHEREAS, a form of lease, hereinbefore referred to, containing the covenants
and terms agreed upon between the City of Alameda and the proposed Lessee has been
prepared and submitted to the Council at its regular meeting hold, on March 16, 1954;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF ALAMEDA that
the form of lease referred to in the preamble hereof and the terms, covenants, agree-
ments and provisions thereof be, and the same are hereby approved.
BE IT FTJRTH1",,R RESOLVED that the Mayor of said City be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, on behalf of the
City, a lease substantially in the form and containing the terms and conditions set
forth in the aforesaid form of lease.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duty
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 16th day of March, 1954, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, McCall, Moresi and President
Sweeney, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
