RE !T RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF
That, for and on behalf of the neople of this City, there be, and there
is hereby, expressed to the Honorable Earl Warren, Chief Justice of the United
States, congratuIRtions noon his elevation to his hivh office; and.
BE 1T FURTHER hKSOLVED, that this Council, for and on behalf of the
people of the City of Alnmeda, express, and does hereby express to the Honorable
Earl Warren, thanks for and appreciation of his outstanding service to the State ME'
California as Governor, nn d the thourhtful study Piven the many local problens
presented by the City for his consideration; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this resolution be
transmitted to Chief Justttarren and that it be spread in full upon the minutes
of this meeting.
