AMENDING MAPPING CONDITION NO. 3 OF RESOLUTION 15689,
GRANTING AN EXTENSION TO THE ALAMEDA HOUSING
AUTHORITY FOR RECORDING A FINAL MAP FOR TRACT 8561
WHEREAS, on August 17, 2020, the Planning Board held a duly noticed public
hearing and adopted Resolution No. PB -20-16 recommending approval of a Tentative
Map for Tract No. 8561 to allow the subdivision of eleven (11) Tots on approximately 12.07
acres; and
WHEREAS, on September 15, 2020, pursuant to Resolution No. 15689, the City
Council approved Tentative Tract Map 8561 Phases 1 and 2; and
WHEREAS, Mapping Condition No. 3 of Resolution No. 15689 requires the
subdivider to record a Final Map by September 15, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda (Housing Authority)
submitted a Public Works Development (PWD22-0004) permit application for
improvement plans and Final Map for on November 10, 2021. PWD22-0004 is currently
under review; and
WHEREAS, on July 19, 2022, the Housing Authority requested an amendment of
Mapping Condition No. 3 of Resolution No. 15689 to extend the deadline to record a Final
Map to September 15, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Alameda
that Mapping Condition No. 3 of Resolution No. 15689 is amended to:
3. The subdivider shall record the first Final Map that includes improvements within
thirty-six (36) months of approval, or conditional approval of the Tentative Map by the City
Council. The City may, upon the subdivider's application filed before the Tentative Map's
expiration date, extend its life for an additional period or periods not to exceed six (6)
years in accordance with state law.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting
assembled on the 6th day of September 2022, by the following vote to wit:

Vella and Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft — 5.
