Resolution 16196 CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 16196 AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 GRANTS FUND (FUND 222) BUDGET APPROPRIATION BY $375,000 TO TRANSFER THOSE FUNDS TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET (FUND 310) FOR CAPITAL PROJECT C65700 (LINCOLN AVENUE/MARSHALL WAY/PACIFIC AVENUE CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT) WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is eligible to receive State funding for certain Transportation Projects through the California Department of Transportation; and WHEREAS, Master Agreements, Program Supplemental Agreements and Funds Transfer Agreements must be executed with the California Department of Transportation before such funds can be claimed; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda was allocated $375,000 from the State General Fund, which was appropriated in Section 19.569, subdivision (b)(4) of the Budget Act of 2023 for the Lincoln Avenue/Marshall Way/Pacific Avenue (Lincoln/Marshall/Pacific) Corridor Improvement Project to the California Department of Transportation; and WHEREAS, the California Department of Transportation determines that the best method of allocation to ensure the funds are used appropriately is a Funds Transfer Agreement; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda wishes to delegate the authority to execute these agreements and any amendments thereto to the City Manager. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda designates the City Manager as the person authorized to execute all Master Agreements, Program Supplemental Agreements and Funds Transfer Agreements and any amendments thereto with the California Department of Transportation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the $375,000 in State funding as noted above shall be appropriated to Grants Fund (Fund 222) as a revenue source for Capital Project C65700, Lincoln/Marshall/Pacific Corridor Improvement Project, which amends the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Grants Fund (Fund 222) and Capital Project Fund (Fund 310) budget appropriations for use on the project. 1 AAAAAk I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of September 2024, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Herrera Spencer, Jensen, Vella and Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft — 5.
