ADJOURNED REGULAR 'METING OP THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA,
HELD TUESDAY EVENING, NOVEMBER 12TH, 1918.
The meeting convened at 8 :02 P.M. , with Council President Majors pre-
siding.
The roll was called and Councilmen Latham, Noy, Otis, Probst and Presi-
dent Majors were noted present. Absent : None.

For Ordinance No. New Series --
Requiring Wearing of Mask During Epidemic
of Influenza and Providing Penalty for
Violation
came up for passage and was read by the Clerk. 'Jr. Otis moved to amend same
by striking out in Section 1, the words "alone or riding in an automobile alone"
and adding between the words "walking upon" the phrase "or riding alone" and that
the ordinance as amended be adopted. Seconded by Mr. Latham and on roll call
carried unanimously.
2. ✓ City Manager Hewes reported on the cost of printing his Annual Report
and stated that an estimate had been given amounting to 650 for 1000 copies.
It was suggested that the City Manager procure tiler figures on 500 copies as
well as 1000 copies.
3. 7 Mr. Probst moved that the City Manager procure estimates and plans
for the creation of an Honor Roll to memoralize all the men of Alameda who
have served in the great War, Seconded by Mr. Latham and carried.
There being no farther business to transact, the Council act journed to
meet in regular session Tuesday evening, November 19th,1918.
