CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 16372
APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE
ALAMEDA CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (ACEA) AND THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA REGARDING AN ADDENDUM TO THE ACEA
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) TO INCLUDE PART-
TIME LIBRARY CLASSIFICATIONS AND OUTLINE PROVISIONS.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this Council a Letter of Understanding
between the Alameda City Employees Association (ACEA) and the City of Alameda
regarding an addendum to the ACEA Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to include
certain part-time Library classifications; and
WHEREAS, the Addendum outlines provisions specific to certain part-time Library
classifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda has fully examined said Letter
of Understanding a copy of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, and finds and
determines that adoption of said document is in the best interest of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the financial impact of the Addendum
on various City funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Alameda that
said Council hereby approves and adopts the Letter of Understanding between the
Alameda City Employees Association (ACEA) and the City of Alameda; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions of this Resolution shall supersede any
other resolution in conflict herewith.

on the 17th day of March 2026, by the following vote to wit:

ABSTENTIONS: None.
