Chair Johnson convened the special meeting at 8:08 p.m.
ROLL CALL - Present: Commissioners Daysog, Gilmore, Kerr,
Matarrese and Chair Johnson - 5.
Absent: None.

(04 -009) Minutes of the Special Community Improvement Commission
Meetings of February 3, 2004. Approved.
Commissioner Daysog moved approval of the minutes.
Commissioner Kerr seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous
voice vote - 5.
AGENDA ITEM
(04 -010) Public Hearing to consider proposal for redevelopment of
property bounded by Park Street, Eagle Avenue and Clement Avenue,
including Ron Goode Toyota proposal; selection of a Master
Developer for the site; and consideration of a Disposition and
Development Agreement with said developer.
The Business Development Manager provided a brief presentation on
the project.
Chair Johnson opened the Public Hearing.
Proponent: Rob Ratto, Park Street Business Association.
Opponents: Greg Barron, Alameda; and Scott Cunningham, Seaworthy
Canvas.
There being no further speakers, Chair Johnson closed the public
portion of the Hearing.
Chair Johnson requested a brief description on the process taken
tonight.
The City Attorney responded that the only action taken tonight
would be a selection of Ron Goode Toyota as a Master Developer for
the site.

Commissioner Matarrese moved approval of staff recommendation.
Under discussion, Commissioner Matarrese requested that the City
communicate with business owners throughout the process.
Commissioner Kerr seconded the motion.
Under discussion Commissioner Kerr encouraged public to communicate
with the Commission.
On call for the question, the motion carried by unanimous voice
vote - 5.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chair Johnson adjourned the
Special Meeting at 8:33 p.m.
